Helen took to the punk scene like a duck to water. Pictured here back in 1976 at her Bell Street flat. Helen Wellington-Lloyd or Helen Of Troy. She was portrayed in the 'The Great Rock N Roll Swindle' Film as Malcolm McLarens sidekick. She was the South African born dwarf who created the first Sex Pistols logo's on the floor of her Bell Street flat.(later refined into the now infamous Jamie Reid blackmail logo). Helen had first met McLaren in '68 at Goldsmiths College where they had a brief fling. She was an integral part of the Soho nightlife mixing with the Prostitutes and doing the odd trick herself. Through her connection with Malcolm she became a regular face in the early London punk scene, which she felt secure in and not just another sideshow.
